When we have chance to take care of our loved one during their life's last moment, the best thing we can do is reciting Amituofo with him.
Tell him/her to let go of all the worldly attachments.
Show him/her the picture of Amituofo's .
Hang the picture at the corner that he/she can see easily from the lying position.
Start reciting Amituofo with him/her day and night(if possible family members can take turn to rest).
Other than Amituofo there is nothing worth to tell and say.
If the sick person tells us he sees Buddha or Bodhisattva other than Amituofo, keep reminding him/her that don't bother and do not follow that Buddha/Bodhisattva and go.
This is because Satan can transform as appearance of any Buddha or Bodhisattva's other than Amituofo with the purpose of taking him/her to the Satan path.
or sometime he/she will see his/her deceased relatives, that also not the real relatives.
That so called relatives actually are his/her enemy who wanted to take revenge on him/her.
Remind him not to bother and do not follow them too.
Keep reminding him concentrate on Amituofo recital.
During this important moment we keep company with him/her with Amituofo recital(no other gossip and chit- chat) .
Recite Amituofo to help and guide our loved one to Amituofo Blissful Pure Land is the kindest thing we can do for them.
Once one has born to Amituofo Blissful Pure Land means he/she is free from any kind of suffering. Isn't it this is the thing we want to see?
