Keep Amituofo in mind

  

There was a young couple with a child. They left their child in their mother’s house at their hometown.

The grandmother was taking care of the grandson while his parents were working in the city.

Whenever they were free, they would returned to the

hometown to visit their child.

There was once the boy’s parents were very busy with their work  that their couldn’t go back to the hometown to visit him.

So the couple asked their mother to bring the child to visit them in the city instead.

The mother is a Nian Fo old lady. They (grandmother and her grandson) took an express bus to travel to the city.

There was quite a distant to travel from the hometown to the city(few hours journey).

 

The road was a winding road.

It is an accident prone road.

Before they boarded the express bus, the old lady  told her grandson to recite Amituofo whenever unusual thing happen.

The grandson was an obedient little boy. He remembered what the grandmother has told him.

While the bus was travelling  on the winding road, suddenly the bus lost control and dashed into a valley.

Most of the passengers in the bus were killed.

When the rescue team reached the accident site, they found this small boy alive but the grandmother was killed.

When the parents rushed to the hospital, they asked their son what has happened.

The little boy told his parents that his grandmother has told him to recite Amituofo whenever there was danger.

So when the bus was out of control, he quickly closed his eyes and recited Amituofo.

 The little boy recited Amituofo,

and had survived the accident.

But the grandmother did not recite Amituofo. At that critical moment she probably worried for her grandson, and called her grandson instead of reciting Amituofo.

You see, calling Amituofo would save you but calling grandson has no help.

This is a very common reaction in most of us, when we encountered with any frightening situation, we tend to say

“Oh dying! dying!” or

 “finished! finished!”

When we say dying or finished

then it will turn out to be like

that. But if we recite Amituofo the situation would be different.

We may be saved or situation would not be so bad.

It would be fine even if we will to be killed in the disaster.

If we recited Amituofo, our soul will be saved.

We left this physical body behind and go to Amituofo Blissful Pure Land.

It is a matter of leaving this

Samsara world a bit earlier only. Our soul will not die life after life in fact.
