The art of letting go

 

We have a lot of burdens.

(grudge, hatred, greed, delusion 

 jealousy and a lot more.)

These burdens make us unhappy.

We need to let go all these unnecessary burdens.

They are unreal, the unreal things(worldly things)can

be convert to the real things.

What is real?

Reciting Amituofo (accumulating merits) is real.

We recite Amituofo, we send the Merits to Amituofo Blissful Pure Land. We have a permanent saving account there. The merits (Gong De) that we have accumulated will be ours forever.

Not like our saving in this world. After we die, the money in our account is no longer ours.

There is a saying says that:

“Ren Zai Tian Tang, Qian Zai Yin

  Hang.” meaning after we die,

We will be in the heaven but our money is still in the bank.

No matter how rich you are,

When the big day comes, you have to leave behind all your wealth, your titles, your spouse etc.

The only thing that you can bring along is the merits (accumulated from good deeds) or the negative karma (collected from evil deeds).

Reciting Amituofo accumulate

Wang Sheng merits (the ticket to enter Blissful Pure Land).

Other activities accumulate six realm reincarnation ticket.

There are six path(six trap) to go.

Be smart enough to decide and choose only The Best.

 

There was an old lady who practice Nian Fo for nearly half of her life.

She has confidence toward her Wang Sheng matter.

On her big day(stopped breathing already), the Nian Fo group was by her bed side to do Zhu Nian(reciting Amituofo) for her.

But after they have recited Amituofo for 36 hours she was refuge to go (to Ji Le Shi Jie).

Her body was stiff and her head top was still cold. That means she not yet Wang sheng successfully.

One of the Zhu Nian member was fainted due to too tired of Nian Fo. The soul of the late

old lady went into the fainted member’s body and told the Zhu Nian Leader, she wanted her aluminium can which she has buried in her garden.

They quickly dug the can out and brought to her. Then only she let go and finally Wang Sheng Ji Le.

This is an example of danger for clinging to the thing we like (refuse to let go things) dangerous.

If the Nian Fo members are not alert or nobody do the Zhu Nian for us, probably we will be stuck and cannot Wang Sheng successfully.

What a pity because we have recited Amituofo for so long but

because of something that we cannot/refuse to let go, we are stuck. This is very pitiful.
