Delusion and distracting thought (Wang Xiang he Za Nian)

Delusion (wang xiang) is false belief about ourselves or situation we are in.

It is something which is not coming yet. It is only your false thinking.

Distracting thought ( za nian) is kept on thinking of something which has already passed.

Delusion and distracting thought will not benefit us in anyway.

It will use up the most of our inner energy!

It will obstruct our daily life!

It makes us live in the illusion (not real).

We should learn to let go the past and don’t worry about the future.

Live this moment. Try our best to do what ever we should do now.

After doing it, leave to Amituofo

( or other religion will say leave it to God).

Buddha told us, things that happened to us are subject to “Cause and Effect”.

Things happen with some reasons behind. We cannot see and we think that Cause & Effect is false.

We cannot accept things that happened to us, we are unhappy and suffer a lot.

To know that “Delusion and Distracting thought” has so much harm to us, then only we will stay away from it.

We can prevent it from continuing

“eat off” our intelligence (ling xing

灵性)and live in agony/suffering.

Delusion & Distracting thought is the cause of most of the depression cases. The sufferer is not live in this moment. He/She live in his/her passed or live in the unreal future.

(think excessively about unnecessary matters)

We must wake up!

Tune confusion (mi) to

awakening (悟)

Confusion: unhappy, ungrateful, dissatisfied, distorted vision (blur),

feel lost.

Awakening - live in this moment, feel contented even in a difficult time because he/she understand the Law of Nature; Cause & Effect.

We know we should live according to the cause (sui yuan 随缘).

Live according to the cause and Nian Fo, cultivate good and we can change our destiny (luck/ming yun 命运)

Previously we don’t cultivate good cause that is why we don’t have

good effect now.

Now, we practiced Dhamma already, we are awaken, so from now onwards we cultivate good cause

( Be kind and be nice to others) and Nian Fo to cultivate pure cause, for sure the effect will be good

( live a better life) and pure

(can migrate to Xi Fang Ji Le Shi Jie

by the time our Human realm Visa is

due )

Master Chin Kung told us, everything in this world is impermanent.

It is like the smoke and cloud.

It is also like the flower’s image in the mirror and like the moon’s image reflect in the water, all are not real.

( jing zhong hua, shui zhong yue

镜中花, 水中月 )

Both are not real.

The message we get from these similes is there is nothing in this world that we can control and posses (own).

If we have the desire to control and to posses, then we will be living in endless suffering.

Parents will think of controlling their children, husband and wife or boy friend and girl friend is trying to control each other, instead of living harmoniously, quarrel will always take place.

We cannot control and posses even our body itself. We cannot tell our body that we don’t want the wrinkles, we don’t want to get sick and get old.

You see, what else can we control and posses? Nothing!

We can appreciate things/chances that we have and make full use of it to benefit others and for self benefit.

We can treasure the moment to be together with people around us.

Sharing and Caring will make life beautiful. Don’t hurt each other.

Cultivate Loving-kindness instead.

To be continue..... Amituofo.
