Amitabha Buddha has vowed that He will be there for those who called upon His Name.
A (阿) means boundless/immeasurable.
Mi Tuo ( 弥陀) means life span/light
Fo (佛) an enlightened person.
Sound is wave of energy(vibration).
The vibration from the sound of reciting Amituofo will calm a person down.
That is why we feel very peaceful listening to the recitation of Amituofo or Namo Kuan Shi Yin Pusa.
Recitation of Amituofo will bring us a lot of benefits.
(Eradicate/remove our negative karma, become happy and healthy,
Things will go smoothly and successfully)
This is not an empty talk and Amituofo will not give us an empty promise too.
Master Chin Kung said, we don’t need to ask for the things we want,
We just need to humble ourselves and recite Amituofo sincerely, beside that we cultivate loving kindness and stop all the negative/bad deeds. automatically wishes will be fulfilled.
Doubtful about the recitation of Amituofo?
There were many true cases has proved to us that Nian Fo has a lot of benefits.
We should turn our doubt into faith and start Nian Fo diligently(work hard).
Narrow escape
There was a young girl in
She was not practicing Dhamma and don’t believe in Dhamma.
One day, one of her friend presented a Nian Zhu ( hand beads) to her.
The friend told her to use the beads to
Nian Fo. One bead for one recitation.
She was reluctant to do so, but because the bead was given to her by her close friend, she just wore it in her hand as an adornment (decoration).
In one morning, she has to meet her boy friend in the park to talk about the separation between two of them.
She reached the park first and waited for so long but the boy friend was not appeared.
While she was waiting, she turned the beads and started to recite Amituofo (because nothing else she can do).
Times passed, the boy friend never appeared at all.
The next day, when she met him, she questioned him why he was failed to keep the appointment yesterday?
He told her, he was there yesterday!
He frankly told her that actually he went to the park with a chopper because he planned to stab her if she disagreed to continue their relationship.
The boy said, the moment he reached there, he saw her sitting on the bench and saying something by herself, suddenly he felt his anger tone down.
He said, he was standing behind her for a while then he left the park.
Upon hearing this, she shivers with fear. She said to herself, luckily she
Nian Fo, if not misfortune will fall on her that morning.
Since then, she has cultivated strong faith in Nian Fo.
Master Da An (大安法师) said, Amituofo Meritorous Name has soft and compassionate light.
When we recite Amituofo, this light is radiate around us.( we are surrounded by the light/vibration). This can soften people’s heart (even on other beings also work).
That was why the boy has given up harming the young girl at last.
She feels so lucky and relief after that.
It is really a narrow escape.
It is wise to recite Amituofo
(especially while we are walking by the road side.)
When we recite Amituofo, there are Dhamma protectors to protect us from harm and danger.
Have strong faith toward Amituofo. Who else we can rely on?
( nowadays, our environment is so chaotic, even the police has told me this; “ Sekarang,mana-mana pun tak selamat!” no where is safe now!)
When we practice Nian Fo at home, we are contributing to societal and world peace, as the wave frequency sent out by Amituofo recitation (Nian Fo) is Purity( no evil thought)
Equality (no differentiation) and Enlightenment ( realization).
With Amituofo recitation, the mental frequency can neutralize the wave frequency patterns sent out by people who has evil thought.
Remember the experiment on water done by Dr Masaru Emoto?

Our mind frequency will affect the environment.
Firstly affect our own self, affect the people and the things around us. That is why I said, always on the forgiving switch in our heart, don’t carry an evil thought.
Master Chin Kung said, the poison of Greed (tan), Hatred(chen) and
Ignorant (chi) has extreme negative effect (disasters) to the environments.
The thought of Greed will cause flood.
The thought of hatred will cause fire.
The thought of ignorant will case
Wind storm and earth quake.
The best way to save our planet is to educate human to have good thought,
good speech and good deed.
Through our action(shen 身),
our speech （kou 口）and
our thought （yi 意）,
we have created a lot of Karmic Seeds ( ye zhang 业障)
The Law of Nature is good cause will bring good effect.
Amituofo recitation is a pure deed, not good and not bad, it is pure.
Pureland practitioners practice Nian Fo are cultivating Pure Deed.(jing ye)
A Good deed is not perfect enough.
Recite Amituofo is cultivating Pure Deeds.
The practice will benefit others and ourselves. The Destination will be in Xi Fang Ji Le Shi Jie.
Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, See No Evil, You Will Be Well and Happy.
